The Rrrrrrrs (pronounced with a tongue roll, 'rrrrrrr') are a fun, 'madcap indie-pop' band based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire. We play uplifting songs about boring nights out, unfaithful women, the credit crunch and transcendental happiness.

The Rrrs formed when Sharzilla Moog aka Sharliza from Singapore, Rowan Gifted from Hayling Island and Les Woods from Wigan converged in an instant and unlikely fashion at Warwick Uni. They currently live together at Casa del Rrrs in Leamington Spa. They've had 8 drummers in the past and are currently with Mr No. 9, Tom Rocket from a posh bit of Leicester. They've called themselves Stari and the Mourning Woods and Multiskins before deciding on The Rrrrrrs, which is pronounced with a sexy gutteral roll of your tongue.

Sharzilla aims to infuse pop indie music with South East Asian influences - still a work in progress.
